Rima, founder and owner of Verda, discovered her “gene” for art and design at an early age. Growing up with a tailor father and a fashion designer mother, she spent most of her free time designing, sewing, decorating and helping her mom rearrange furniture. Throughout her high school years, Rima was already designing and creating garments. Before starting her first college degree, she was helping relatives and friends stage and furnish their homes. Meanwhile, she created jewelry pieces and had them marketed in France. After moving to the US and earning a degree in Fashion Design, Rima attended the Interior Design Institute, idi in Newport Beach, California.
Rima’s Lebanese heritage and her deep passion for travel make her familiar with different cultures and lifestyles in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, as well as inspire her eclectic yet edgy and contemporary taste. She believes great design is about dealing with a challenge and solving it with aesthetic, functionality, and innovation. Her knowledge and experience in both the fashion and interior design worlds complement Rima’s mission for great design.
Rima currently resides in Orange County, California and maintains a huge admiration for what she does.
